On April 21st, Moving Together is hosting a workshop on self-care, using a Dance Movement Therapy approach to explore what gets in the way of us practicing self-care and how we can use creative movement as a way to get in touch with our body’s wisdom so that we can overcome those obstacles.

“The image of using our bodies as a compass can help us attune to our needs and find ways to meet them in the moment. This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to discover embodied resources for self-care, using creative movement and dance as a guide to building awareness, connection and compassion for ourselves.
By first looking at what obstacles are in the way of us practicing self-care and then using our creative resources to overcome those obstacles, we will move towards self-care in a way that feels sustainable, accessible, and joyful!”
